At her showing Saturday, Monika Kowalska presented organically formed dresses and separates -- perfect for Spring days. And to buck tradition, rather than write direct descriptions of the clothes on the show notes, there were witty bon mots for each with the names of the models included. "For Madeline, foreplay always involved a good scratch" described an oversized cardigan in black with red and green lines in zig zags whereas "Nurse Kel dressed her left arm with extra care" was a one shouldered mutton sleeved blouse. All in all, a fun show filled with clothes, beautiful in their simplicity and hidden witticisms.
